Silver Screen Weekly - What's Coming Up At The Cinema From Friday 23rd February 2024

Our film critic and media correspondent has been looking and trawling the new releases. Here's what you can see on the big screen this week.

From Friday 23rd February

Wicked Little Letters (15)
This British black comedy is based on the outrageous true story! As a village is plagued by a series of acid-tongued letters and, as the police investigate their origin, everyone in the village seems to have an idea who is responsible, but are they? Starring Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Anjana Vasan and Timothy Spall. This film is being hailed by critics as "wicked, weird and wild” and “the best British comedy of the year”. With a delightfully barmy story, and a story full of surprises and foul-mouthed hilarity.
