New Climate Risk & Resilience Service Helps Businesses Navigate Climate Uncertainty

Sustainability consultancy Tunley Environmental has launched its new Climate Risk and Resilience Strategy service, supporting organisations in understanding and managing the operational, financial and strategic risks posed by climate change.

The increased frequency of extreme weather events, supply chain disruptions and changing regulatory expectations means climate risk is rapidly becoming a core business concern. Many organisations are starting to demonstrate awareness of climate-related risks, and implement actionable strategies to mitigate them in line with frameworks such as the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Tunley Environmental’s Climate Risk and Resilience Strategy service delivers a structured, data-driven approach to evaluating both physical and transition climate risks that are aligned with ISO 14090, 14091, & 14092 standards. This includes assessing exposure to acute and chronic climate hazards, such as extreme weather events and long-term temperature shifts, alongside policy, market and reputational risks associated with the transition to a low-carbon economy. A key feature of the service is the development of tailored resilience and adaptation strategies. These strategies are designed to integrate climate risk into core business planning, strengthen operational continuity and enhance long-term value protection. Tunley’s scientific team also provides guidance on aligning outputs with TCFD and CSRD reporting requirements, ensuring organisations are prepared for evolving disclosure expectations.

Tunley Environmental’s Climate Risk and Resilience Strategy service provides organisations with the tools, insight and expert support needed to move from reactive climate risk management to proactive climate resilience planning. The company also plans to host a webinar to explore the service in more detail and demonstrate how organisations can build resilience against climate risks.
