Award-winning Northwest bakery welcomes national TV crew to explore its story.

Leading Northwest bakery Lovingly Artisan, which operates in Cumbria and Manchester, is set to feature on national television, as BBC Countryfile discovers what makes the multi-award-winning bakery tick.

The episode is due to air on Sunday 6th September at 7.00pm on BBC One.

While filming, the Countryfile crew followed the team's bakery routine, visiting several locations near Kendal linked to Lovingly Artisan, as well as a local supplier in the Eden Valley.

Catherine Connor, co-owner of Lovingly Artisan, said: ''We were totally beside ourselves when we were asked to take part in Countryfile, especially as we've been huge fans of the programme for years. British farmers, growers and producers are something we actively champion and are hugely passionate about, so being able to show the team a little of what we're about has been a real pleasure.''
