York’s only five-star hotel, The Grand, with its very own cookery school, is making ready to prepare people for the festive season before the Summer Sun has even said goodbye!

The spectacular property, located just across from the city’s rail station, has decided to run a course called the Ultimate Christmas Lunch in which they will teach participants how to prepare, cook and carve a full Christmas Day Lunch.

And, even better, students then get to sit down and enjoy the fruits of their labour.

Cookery School Director, Marc Williams will be on hand to dole out the necessary tips and tricks to make the big day as seamless as possible.

The half day classes last three hours and will give you the opportunity to create and enjoy demonstrations of a variety of dishes, before sitting down to enjoy them with a glass of wine.

You can even take in the joys of York, one of the country’s finest cities.
