Jet2 Honours Record 76 Apprentices At Graduation

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have celebrated their biggest cohort of apprentices, with 76 colleagues graduating from the company’s scheme at a special ceremony held in Leeds.

The event at The Centenary Pavilion marked the fourth annual graduation hosted by the company and the largest to date. Apprentices who completed qualifications ranging from Level 2 to Level 7 were recognised.

The successful graduates work across a wide range of departments, including Engineering, Finance, IT, Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and Sustainability. The entire cohort achieved a 100% first-time pass rate, with many earning distinction grades for their work.

Each apprentice was presented with their certificate by their department Director. The ceremony included speeches from Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, and Miriam D’souli, HR Director. Graduates Ellie Wittingham and Archie Drummond also shared their personal experiences with the programme.

Miriam D’souli, HR Director, highlighted the significance of the achievement: “We are as proud as ever to see 76 talented and committed apprentices graduate from our apprenticeship scheme in our biggest ever graduation ceremony. Our apprentice colleagues put in so much hard work, so it was fantastic to recognise their success and mark this important career milestone. These apprentices have developed enormously over the course of their studies, forging bright futures ahead of them.”

The scheme continues to expand. Jet2.com and Jet2holidays currently have over 200 apprentices enrolled across 45 different apprenticeship standards. The company plans to grow the programme further into 2026.

The airline and tour operator is also a finalist in the Yorkshire and Humber Apprenticeship and Skills Awards 2025, including for the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Employer of the Year category. Four apprentices are also in the running for individual awards.
