Work is underway on the second phase of The Point business development in west Hull after all three initial units were quickly occupied by growing companies.

The 6.5-acre development, run by family-owned Allenby Commercial at Priory Park East, offers high-quality industrial and trade counter units tailored to business needs. Phase one occupiers include paint protection firm Attention to Detail (ATD) Automotive, wholesale fruit and vegetable company Associated Growers, and fit-out specialist Michael James Property Developments.

The three bespoke units in the first phase are now fully occupied, confirming strong demand for high-specification, energy-efficient premises in the region. Completion of Phase two is expected by March 2026, adding a further three customisable units ranging from 2,500 to 5,000 sq ft, available to rent or buy.

Andrew Allenby, Managing Director of Allenby Commercial, noted the market’s need for "quality and efficient space," adding that the development is "paramount to the success of the area". The site is situated five miles from Hull city centre with excellent access to the A63 and M62 motorway.

The tailored units, which feature solar panels and Grade A Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ratings, are accommodating significant business growth.

ATD Automotive, which has expanded into supercar sales with The Vault Collection, has already secured a second unit in Phase two. Founder Harry Hall said the location and access were much better for their out-of-town clients, adding: "This location is providing us with the opportunity to grow even further.”

Associated Growers chose The Point as an additional distribution centre following a fivefold business increase in four months. Michael James Property Developments, which handles high-quality interior fit-outs for major national clients like Greggs, purchased its 3,450 sq ft unit after outgrowing its previous base.

Plans are already in progress for Phase three to commence in 2026.
