Bradford Live Announces Free Opening Events
Family Open Day - Saturday 23 August From 10am

Bradford Live is inviting people to come and explore the building and see the amazing restoration that has taken place in this iconic venue as part of a fun-packed free family fun day,
The event will include access to all the venue’s event spaces and a chance for children to enjoy themselves with a treasure hunt, face painting and other activities.
Local venue historian Mark Nicholson will be hosting talks about the venue's rich history in the beautifully restored Ballroom throughout the day.
There will be opportunities to have your picture taken on the historic stage or just relax with refreshments available from the bar and take a seat in the auditorium.
If you have special memories of the venue, they would love you to share them with then on the day.
Bradford Live’s Box Office counter will also be open to the public for the first time with some hot summer ticket offers for the upcoming opening season.

Bradford Live At Last: Bradford’s Big Bash - Thursday 28 August 7.30pm
Prior to Bill Bailey (30 Aug) and The Prat Pack (31 Aug) on the official opening weekend comes the Big Bash.
In association with The Limelight Orchestra, Bradford’s Big Bash brings the ultimate club music meets classical experience to Bradford Live.
Get ready for an electrifying night as Limelight’s stunning 40-piece orchestra, dancers and powerhouse vocalists perform iconic dance, trance, and club hits from the ’90s to now.
Reimagined classics like
Hey Boy Hey Girl by The Chemical Brothers,
Insomnia by Faithless,
The Rockafeller Skank by Fatboy Slim,
Children by Robert Miles, and more; this is your chance to dance to orchestral versions of your favourite anthems, set against a jaw-dropping light show, transforming this breathtaking venue into a high-energy club atmosphere.
Warm up with our pre-show DJ set from Leccy (Woodland Disco Festival, Lovezoo) before the main performance starts!
This is a safe, welcoming event for music lovers of all ages 14 and over*- a perfect chance to introduce friends and family to the captivating world of dance, trance, and club music. Don’t miss this unforgettable night!
