Weekly Roadworks Update - 1 October

This week it was announced that essential overnight resurfacing works will be taking place from Monday 18 October as part of the multi-million-pound Stoneferry improvement scheme in Hull.

The works are expected to last around two weeks and will be undertaken overnight in order to minimise disruption.

Councillor Dean Kirk, Portfolio Holder for transportation, roads and highways said:
“The fact that these closures are being done overnight will ensure that this stage of the works can be completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are another step closer to improving access and use for thousands of residents and businesses in the area.

“Noise mitigation has been a core consideration in the selection of equipment and we apologise for any inconvenience caused as we aim to complete these works as swiftly as possible.”
