A new-look Fantasy Island theme park and Skegness Pier are back following a £2m facelift.

Mellors Group, owners of the family-favourite attractions, have used the last 12 months of lockdown to inject £1m each into Fantasy Island and Skegness Pier.
The large investment into the seaside town will help cement Skegness as one of the East Coast’s hotspot staycation choices for families this year.

Skegness Pier, re-opened this month offering thrill-seeking families everything from pulse-racing escape rooms to ten pin bowling, to laser quest. The new and improved venue also opened its doors to three new exciting attractions including Playa at the Pier, Clip ‘n Climb, and Hero Zone.

Clip ‘n Climb is the first, and only, climbing centre of its kind to hit the East Coast this year.

With 14 exhilarating climbing frames and activities, visitors can master climbing walls before taking on the next challenge!

Edward Mellors, Company Director at Mellors Group said: “We know there’ll be a lot of people who are very excited to get back to Skegness this summer and our £2M investment into two of the key attractions, Fantasy Island and Skegness Pier, will ensure our seaside town is seen as a must-visit seaside resort this year. We’re excited to officially reopen both our indoor venues fully to all UK families. It’s been a long lockdown and we can’t wait for everyone to get back to having family fun by the sea.”
