Be prepared for an action-packed May half term as Merlin Entertainments’ multi-attraction tickets allow families save over 40% on some of its biggest attractions across the Midlands.

A week full of entertainment is on the agenda for May half term for families and friends who will be able to visit some of the Midlands’ leading indoor and outdoor attractions with offers at Warwick Castle, Cadbury World, the National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham, Bear Grylls Adventure and LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham.

But, this May, we’re really excited to welcome families to some of our top and most-popular attractions across the Midlands with a jam-packed suite of fun to be had! From boarding the brand-new ride at Cadbury World to helping to rescue seahorses at SEA LIFE and watching jousting at Warwick Castle, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Cadbury World has a series of fun activities and brand-new areas that all the family can enjoy this half term. The latest addition to the Cadbury World attraction, the Cadbury Chocolate Quest ride, is ready to welcome aboard all the family and take them on an interactive choc-tastic mission. Chocolate lovers will enjoy an exciting sensory experience on an adventure to source the ingredients needed to create a bar of the iconic Cadbury Dairy Milk. Additionally, families can let their creative juices flow as they test their chocolate making skills in the revamped Have A Go Zone and soak up the history of Cadbury in the new Bournville Experience.

If that wasn’t enough, guests can see fan favourites including Freddo and Mr Cadbury’s Parrot in character meet and greets all throughout the half term. The 4D Chocolate Adventure is also a must-see as families enjoy the sensation of riding the Crunchie rollercoaster and diving into a pot of liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk in this cinema experience complete with motion seats.

Back by popular demand, the critically acclaimed Wars of the Roses LIVE! returns to Warwick Castle for the unmissable jousting spectacular this May. Guests can choose their side in the Wars of the Roses and then watch stunning equestrian stunts, world-class jousting, and a fearless finale.

This May half term will also see the return of the Zog Live Show. Set within a secluded woodland, the much-loved Zog Live Show features special content developed by Julia Donaldson, and a set design created using Axel Scheffler’s original artwork. The show includes live puppetry, interactive routines and surprise special effects that will entertain all budding dragons.

For families looking for somewhere to stay, Warwick Castle will see the return of its much-loved Medieval Glamping at the Knight’s Village. With prices starting from £199 based on a family of four and one-day castle tickets, families really can immerse themselves in the medieval world and sleep under the stars.

LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham

This half term, families can find their Dragon Power with LEGO® NINJAGO®. The LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham is on the hunt for ninjas to help NINJAGO® grow stronger. Families will be able to join the legendary green ninja, Lloyd, as he recruits a new generation of ninjas to find the most powerful elemental dragons to save the world.

During May half term until the end of June, guests can search Miniland to find the six missing ninjas in order to solve a word puzzle, gain a burst of dragon power and learn the ancient art of Spinjitzu, a close-combat martial arts technique.

SEA LIFE Birmingham
This May half term, the National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham is on a mission to try and help seahorses continue to live safely in the planet’s oceans. The Seahorse Hotel event will allow marine lovers to get up close to this incredible species.

The event includes an interactive trail, colouring activities and the first look of the brand-new Seahorse area so nautical fans can find out everything they need to know about the cute underwater creatures.

Bear Grylls Adventure

Families can activate their adventure mode this May half term at The Bear Grylls Adventure by facing their fears as a family on the incredible activities available. With archery, high ropes and zip lines on hand to get heart rates up and energy levels high, there is something for everyone!
