Parisian Chic Meets Yorkshire Eccentricity

Pop art, period patterns and a Nordic ski lodge are the hallmarks of Clementine’s, a newly renovated hotel in the heart of York.

The facelift of the former gentleman’s townhouse has cost a cool £1m and, says its owners, is where
Parisian chic meets Yorkshire Heritage……with a touch of eccentricity thrown in!
Formerly Marmadukes, Clementine’s has been fully refurbished from top to bottom, inside and out, completing the transformation into a luxury boutique hotel….complete with a Nordic inspired ski lodge suite!

Located in a tranquil, residential street just a short stroll from the ancient city centre walls, the property retains many of the building’s original architectural features: a tiled floor and stained-glass windows can be seen as well as a beautiful Victorian walled garden.
Blending classic art with modern-day mischief, Clementine’s sports cheeky interior touches including vibrant art and a full blossom tree adorning the reception, complete with purple neon lights!
