Jane McDonald has been in the public eye for twenty-six years since she rose to fame on the TV show The Cruise.

The Wakefield-born entertainer's current UK tour, 'With All My Love,' is making stops at some of the country's most prominent concert halls and arenas. Her two-night residency at Blackpool’s Opera House was completely sold out.

McDonald's audience is diverse in age, and her stage show, while not entirely nostalgic, included glamour and at least four costume changes.

Her on-stage banter was sincere, witty, and genuine, making her feel like a close friend to the audience. She even invited her friend Sue on stage for a duet, creating a memorable moment for her friend's birthday. What you see is what you get: a consummate performer whose warmth and empathy shine brightly.

The setlist consisted of well-known pop standards that likely represented the soundtrack of McDonald's youth, along with surprising original compositions. The Cher medley was a highlight, and her song You Still Lead Me, written after her mother's passing, was profoundly moving. The disco sequence featuring Dan Hartman's Instant Replay and Relight My Fire was uplifting.

McDonald's performance in Blackpool took the audience on a captivating journey, leaving everyone with a smile.

The tour continues with further dates in the north:

3rd November- Salford Lowry
6th November- Sheffield City Hall
7th November- Newcastle City Hall
