Mike Tramp came to prominence in the music world with the rock band White Lion, who formed in 1983. The band enjoyed great success with their second album Pride in 1987, with the group continuing to be successful until they disbanded in 1992.

Tramp has re-recorded many of the classic White Lion songs and added a new twist to the album. Tramp recorded the tracks in his twenties, but his voice has matured, giving them a greater depth and clarity.

The opening track, Lights and Thunder, still has a Led Zeppelin influence, with guitarist Marcus Nand giving the track a muscular edge. Things turn more melodic with the tracks Till Death Do Us Part and You're All I Need, both of which sound current and relevant.

The album closes with Farewell To You, a tribute to his friend and bandmate Vita Bratta. Whilst fans of White Lion and Tramp might have preferred to hear some brand new songs, he still can hold the listeners attention with these interpretations, which in some instances make the songs sound even better than when originally recorded.
